The Ladies Kennel Association Championship Show 2026

2nd Open Male

Moore's Hillhaven Johnny Be Good. Average size 2yr old dog of the highest quality. He has a lovely masculine head with correct shape med/dark eye, correct dentition, lovely dark mask and good pigmentation. He has plenty of bone, correct width of chest, straight front and nice tight feet. His shoulder placement, body proportions and rear angulation are all correct.

His overall body condition was excellent. He is very well muscled, and this was evident on the move, as he moved dead straight with drive and ease, holding a firm topline and correct tail carriage at all times. There was very little to choose between 1 and 2 in this class and although 2 was in good coat condition and had adequate furnishings also, he just lacked the overall finish of the more mature dog on the day.

Another lovely youngster although different to the winner, masculine head with a good width to skull and correct ear set, he has a strong neck although its length was somewhat hidden by his huge but immaculate coat, defined withers and firm topline, he has super bone and stands true behind on strong parallel hocks which he used to advantage on the move

7 month old well developed boy for age. Exellent breed type, plenty to like with a strong head, very kind dark eye of correct size and shape. Ample coat and furnishings, creating a lovely outline, topped with sound and effortless movement, covering ground well coming and going, Best Puppy.
