Conditions of sale
The following conditions are attached to the sale agreement between

This contract shall be signed by both parties and is binding.
Upon reservation of a puppy a deposit of E300 of the agreed purchase price of E1800 becomes payable.
This deposit can be paid upon both parties being agreeable to becoming part of the Hillhaven Leonberger family
The breeder will provide a Pedigree Leonberger puppy by Lempileijonan Aito Suomileijona @ Hillhaven and Tefills Zeveda @ Hillhaven which will be registered with the IKC under the affix of Hillhaven and to their knowledge free from disease and defect.
The puppy will have a complete Veterinarian Check, the puppy will also have Microchip implant.
We recommend the purchaser to consider insuring the puppy with a pet plan for at least 2 years of life.
The purchaser agrees to provide a kind and loving, responsible home, offering adequate and suitable nourishment, exercise according to age, taking proper precautions to protect puppy from harm and disease.
All vaccinations are to be carried out in accordance with veterinary advice. If at any time the purchaser neglects,
ill uses or allows the dog to be badly treated the Breeder may repossess the dog.
We as breeders recommend Gain food for your puppy. Gain Elite Puppy up to 6 months, moving onto Junior and onto adult at appropriate stages. It is of course a recommendation only but age appropriate food is necessary.
We cannot be held responsible for bone/joint problems occurring due to incorrect feeding, exercise and careless rearing.
The purchaser will not under any circumstances sell on, rehome, or otherwise dispose of the dog without prior consent of the breeder. The dog is to be returned to the breeder for re-homing should the purchaser be unable to keep the dog for any serious reason.
We would like to know how your Leo is progressing, so would ask that you at least once a year contact us with updates and if possible email us photos.
We would ask that you try attend some obedience classes with your puppy to make life enjoyable for both you and your puppy.
The breeder will provide full pedigree and registration details as soon as the IKC allows.
The dog will be sold with IKC registration, which will be forwarded. The pedigree will also be endorsed not for breeding.
The Puppy will be sold as a pet and not for breeding so all Hillhaven puppies will be endorsed.
The endorsements are there to safeguard the future welfare of your dog and the Leonberger Breed. We can lift the Endorsements in the future at our own decretion and would consider doing so only after the dog is 2 years old and subject to relevant hereditary tests being done and passed satisfactorily.
These tests include Hips and Elbows BVA tested, LPN1, LPN2, LPN3 LEMP gene test, BVA clear eyes test and a heart check.
Any future testing that will become compulsory for the breeding of Leonbergers will also have to be performed.
Breeding is also subject to the dog having good conformation, correct and full dentition be of sound and kindly temperament.
The owners would also need a responsible attitude to breeding, with appropriate facilities and resources to do it competently.
If for some unfortunate reason your dog dies, the purchaser should let us know the date and cause. If any serious condition occurs, we would like to know as we may be able to give advice, help and support.
This goes without saying, we as the breeders will be only a phone call away if the purchaser needs advice or help at any time.
No guarantee can be given as to the puppies “future potential for showing or breeding.
The new owner fully understands that he/she is purchasing a puppy of a giant breed that can sometimes suffer from various conditions including but not restricted to disease and conditions of the heart, skin, bones and joints and neurological system.
Although the breeder has taken all reasonable precautions in the prevention of these ailments,
no guarantee is given that these conditions will not arise in the future.
Received with thanks of full settlement for the agreed price of the puppy
